Sales Policy
Due to the nature of our classes and services, all sales are final. We regret that we are unable to offer refunds after a purchase has been completed.
When Attending Live Webinar Events
The Feng Shui Training Center (FSTC) advises attendees to download the GoTo app for a better viewing and interactive experience.
When registering for a Live Webinar, the login link will be included in the autoresponder you receive immediately after your registration has been completed. Please check both your Inbox and Spam/Junk folder. You are responsible for verifying that your registration has been successfully completed and that you have received the registration confirmation and login information.
Once you receive the login link, please click on it and register your computer. This process confirms your attendance and will expedite your login process on the day of the event. It will also allow you to verify that your equipment and software are up to date for the best possible viewing experience, giving you time to address any issues in advance. If you are attending a weekly class, you will only need to complete this process the first time.
We also advise attendees to log in at least 20 minutes before a Live Webinar is scheduled to begin. This will allow sufficient time to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
FSTC makes every effort to keep its broadcasting system up to date with the latest technology. However, FSTC cannot be held responsible for technical issues arising from an individual attendee’s computer, internet connection, equipment, or other technical circumstances on the attendee’s end.
Please note that a malfunction or technical issue affecting an individual attendee during a Live Webinar event, when the issue is not experienced by the majority of attendees, will not be considered grounds for a refund.
Cancellation of a Live Event
In the event that an upcoming Live Webinar is canceled by FSTC without a new date being scheduled, a refund will be provided to students registered prior to the cancellation date.
No refund will be issued if the event has been postponed or if a new date for the same event has been scheduled.
Live Webinar Session Recordings
Students enrolled in Live Webinar courses/classes will be provided access to playback links for recordings of Live Webinar sessions for up to one week from the date on which the corresponding Live Webinar session was originally held.
Playback links are provided as a courtesy to students enrolled in Live Webinar courses/classes and are not intended to serve as a substitute for a Video Self-Study course.
Level 1 Certificate Program — Case Study Review
During the Level 1 Certificate Program, the Case Study Review is scheduled for the sixth week of class. Students are strongly advised not to miss this session, as no additional Case Study Review time is included in the tuition fee.
A separate one-to-one mentorship meeting may be scheduled outside of class time for an additional fee.
Mentorship meetings canceled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed without at least 24 hours’ notice, are subject to a $250 cancellation fee.
When attending Self-Study Video Courses and One-To-One Mentorship Meetings:
Sales of self-study video courses and classes are final. No exceptions.
Purchases of video courses and classes grant access to all videos included in the course for six months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
Tuition for 6-Week Self-Study Video Courses includes one one-to-one mentorship meeting, to be scheduled after the course and all assigned coursework have been completed.
Mentorship meetings canceled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed without at least 24 hours’ notice, are subject to a $250 cancellation fee.

Educational Content, Intellectual Property & Authorized Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope
This policy establishes the terms governing access to, use of, and participation in the educational programs, course materials, teachings, methodologies, and intellectual property provided by FSTC.
Our educational content represents the knowledge, experience, professional methodology, and intellectual work developed and curated by our school. We are committed to protecting the integrity of our teachings and ensuring that our materials are used appropriately and with respect for applicable intellectual property rights.
This policy applies to all prospective students, enrolled students, graduates, educational institutions, professional organizations, and other individuals or entities who access, receive, or engage with our educational content.
2. Direct Communication with Prospective Students
To maintain the integrity of our admissions process and ensure appropriate communication, prospective students are expected to communicate directly with the school and its authorized representatives.
Where an individual or institution makes an inquiry on behalf of a prospective student, the school reserves the right to request direct communication with the student before providing further admissions information or evaluating their suitability for enrollment.
As part of our admissions process, prospective students may be required to submit:
- A current curriculum vitae (CV), outlining their professional and educational background.
- A brief essay describing their professional objectives and how they intend to integrate the knowledge acquired through our program into their professional practice.
The school reserves the right to assess each prospective student’s qualifications, professional objectives, and suitability for the program.
3. Ownership and Protection of Educational Content
All course materials, teachings, presentations, written content, visual materials, educational resources, and other proprietary content provided by our school are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, contractual rights, or licensing arrangements, as applicable.
Certain materials may be used under license, and the rights associated with such materials remain subject to the terms and conditions established by the relevant rights holders.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, access to our educational content does not transfer ownership of intellectual property to the student or any third party.
Our educational content is provided for authorized professional purposes and must be treated with the appropriate level of confidentiality and respect for applicable intellectual property rights.
4. Restrictions on Unauthorized Use
Without prior express written authorization from FSTC or the applicable rights holder, no individual or organization may:
- Reproduce, copy, or distribute our proprietary course materials.
- Republish, adapt, repackage, or substantially reproduce our educational content.
- Teach, present, or deliver our proprietary course content to third parties.
- Use our course materials, presentations, or methodology to develop or supplement another school’s curriculum or educational program.
- Incorporate our proprietary educational content into workshops, seminars, training programs, or commercial educational offerings.
- Represent our school’s teachings, materials, or proprietary methodology as their own.
- Use access to our courses or educational materials as a basis for providing unauthorized instruction or training to third parties.
These restrictions apply to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit any rights or uses that are expressly authorized by law or by a written agreement.
5. Use of Educational Content for Teaching or Training Others
Enrollment in our program, access to our educational content, or participation in our courses does not grant an individual or institution the right to use our materials for teaching, training, or developing educational programs for third parties.
We do not authorize the use of our course content, methodology, presentations, or educational materials for the training of third parties or for the development of educational programs outside our school, unless a separate written agreement has been established with us.
Any request to use our content for teaching, training, curriculum development, institutional education, or commercial purposes must be submitted to the school in advance and must receive express written authorization.
Authorization, when granted, may be subject to specific conditions, limitations, attribution requirements, licensing fees, and a separate written agreement.
6. Requests for Authorization
Individuals or organizations seeking permission to reproduce, adapt, teach, distribute, or otherwise use our proprietary educational content must contact Simona Mainini, Executive Director at the Feng Shui Training Center directly.
All requests must clearly identify:
- The specific materials or content for which permission is requested.
- The intended purpose and manner of use.
- The intended audience and number of participants, where applicable.
- The educational institution, organization, or commercial entity involved.

No authorization should be assumed based on enrollment, informal communication, verbal discussions, or access to course materials. Permission must be confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of the school.
7. Compliance and Reservation of Rights
We reserve the right to address unauthorized use of our educational content through appropriate contractual, administrative, or legal measures, as applicable.
Where a student or organization is found to be using our materials in violation of an applicable agreement or authorized terms of use, we may take appropriate action, including requesting the cessation of unauthorized use, withdrawing permission previously granted, or pursuing other remedies available under applicable law.
Nothing in this policy waives or limits any intellectual property rights, contractual rights, or other legal protections available to the school or the relevant rights holders.

FSTC reserves the right to update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website will reflect the applicable effective date.

Feng Shui Profession’s Governing Body
There is no official, universally recognized, or legal supervising body that governs the practice of Feng Shui worldwide. As an unregulated profession, it lacks a central regulatory board to certify standards, ethics, or qualifications, unlike licensed trades such as architecture, accounting or medicine.
Key Aspects of Feng Shui Regulation:
- No Central Authority: There is no single official regulatory agency, such as a government board, for Feng Shui.
- Professional Associations: Various independent associations exist, such as the American Council of Feng Shui Masters and IFSG, which are member-driven organizations, but are not legal regulatory bodies.
- Practice Recognition: Membership in such organizations or “master” certification from a private school indicates training within that specific lineage, not state or legal licensure.
Feng Shui Certification is generally provided by private individuals or schools. Therefore, consumers seeking a practitioner should evaluate experience, training, and references directly. Students interested in learning the Feng Shui profession should too. As programs by the same name differ significantly from school to school without curriculum alignment nor reciprocity between schools, researching a school’s instructor background will provide more information about the quality of the study material proposed.
Right to Decline or Terminate Service
The Feng Shui Training Center (FSTC) and Simona Mainini reserve the right, at their discretion, to decline or discontinue providing teaching, mentoring, consultation, or other services, including participation in Live Webinar or Self-Study courses, when deemed appropriate.
FSTC is committed to maintaining a respectful, supportive, and constructive learning environment for all students. If a student engages in disrespectful, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior toward another student, the teacher, or FSTC staff, or demonstrates disregard for the teacher’s time, instruction, or the learning environment, FSTC may take appropriate action, including terminating the student’s participation.
We appreciate your understanding that, in certain circumstances, our services may not be the appropriate fit for an individual’s needs, behavior, or circumstances. Our intention is always to provide a positive and respectful experience for everyone involved.
By accessing or participating in our educational programs, students and other users are expected to respect the applicable intellectual property rights, licensing terms, authorized conditions and other terms of use associated with our educational content.
